One&Only Desaru Coast is seeking a passionate and dedicated Agent, Reservation to join our team based in Desaru, Johor.

  • Understand the telephone operator board or PBX switchboard operations
  • Answers incoming calls following telephone etiquette
  • Responsible for maintaining effective communication channels with the internal and external guest through prompt and courteous delivery of information following LQA standard.
  • Order taking for In Room Dining request from in-house guest via phone, following the SOP standard and communicating with In Room Dining department
  • Communicating with external and internal guest using, monitoring, updating of the Resort Communication Application software.
  • Follow up on guest request which been channel to others department. Ensures proper record keeping and documentation as per statutory and organizational requirements
  • Provides prompt, courteous and efficient service to all guests and callers, to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicates promptly and efficiently, customer complaints and compliments regardless of how small they may be. Immediately report to the Manager On The Duty / Superior.
  • Actively elicits guest preferences and feedback regarding hotel services and initiates action on the same to maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Keeps the Manager, Reservations promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
  • To be fully aware of and adhere of health and safety, fire and bomb threat procedures. Knows what action to take when an emergency call is required
  • To be aware of all front office procedures and assist with reception duties when required.
  • Willing to undertake any reasonable request made by management in any other areas of the house.
  • Open and close telephone functionality on the hotel front office software.
  • Update directory information on the front office software
  • Always Maintains a clean and neat appearance and work area
  • Promotes goodwill by beings courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, managers, and fellow colleagues
  • Planning for clients travel program if needed
  • Performed task base on Standard Operating Procedure given
About You:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in acknowledged resorts and hotels as similar role
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Knows Fidelio / Opera
  • Speaks English Fluently
