A thrilling AGN Manager, Financial Accounting (AP) job has just become available at leading technology company based in Batu Kawan. In this role, you are responsible for growing and developing corporate and international finance functions for the company.

About the AGN Manager, Financial Accounting (AP) Role:
In this role, you need to deliver a professional and consistent service to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieving effective end-to-end performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise functional financial accounting activities mainly on aacounts payable including reviewing journal entries and reporting
• Be responsible for internal and external stakeholders\' vendor invoicing and payment enquiries
• Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with GAAP and applicable international and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
• Ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, maintaining updated documentation and providing recommendations, as appropriate
• Identify and highlight any risks/fraud and mitigate with proper controls and solutions
• Lead and drive process improvement, automation, and standardisation and other assigned projects/tasks

• Proactively engage with stakeholders to resolve challenges and recommend solutions, improvement where necessary
• Coach and mentor team members
• Establish plans and objectives for the functional group and at organisation level for Global Finance Center of Excellene

To succeed in the Manager, Financial Accounting (AP) job, you need to possess the people management skills with Account Payable experiences.

Key Requirements:

• Possess professional degree in finance/accounting and professional qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 10 years and above working experience with at least six years in a leadership position, preferably in a fast-paced technology industry
• Experience in Ariba, SAP, automation projects, LEAN, 6-Sigma or RPA, preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and local country accounting standards
• Strong team-player with experience working in a dynamic organisation and demonstrated ability to build bridges between stakeholders
• Strong communication, influencing skills including ability to step up in challenging status quo when necessary
• Strong analytical skills with deep understanding of business principles and practices
• Proven track record of team development, process efficiency, quality improvement and innovating finance workloads
• Ability to succinctly explain financial matters to non-finance personnel
• Demonstrate and maintain a positive customer service focus to both internal & external customers, including Audit/Statutory engagement
