We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Agronomist/Farm Specialist to join our team. As an Agronomist/Farm Specialist at FarmByte, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our farmers\' operations in cultivating the commodities that we demand, optimizing yield and managing the harvest plan. You will make sure that our farmers apply good farming practices to produce good quality crops as expected. Key Responsibilities: In general, an Agronomist/Farm Specialist will learn and be responsible to: Develop better planting, cultivation, and harvesting techniques, improving crop yield, and solving problems of agriculture by collaborating with the contract farmers Evaluates and improves seed, fertilizer, and crop protection quality Contribute to quality control on farm operations, i.e., seed handling and cutting, planter spacing accuracy, and irrigation system uniformity, etc. Conduct training on products and agronomic techniques through educational presentations to the farmers and farming staff Manage the efficient use of farm equipment and materials Training farming staff, and the sales and marketing team on agronomic processes. Generate reports and present findings to management, and or other interested parties Qualifications, Knowledge & Skill: Bachelor\'s degree in related discipline, Agriculture background is a plus Minimum 2 years of agronomy work experience especially in fruit and vegetables farming In-depth knowledge of crop principles Outstanding research and analytical skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated integrity and a strong work ethic Fluency in Malay & English language If you believe you possess the required qualifications and experience for this exciting opportunity, we invite you to submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
