This is a contract role for a Data Annotator. You will be responsible for reviewing and annotating data, ensuring accuracy and quality. You will also be responsible for moderating and monitoring user-generated content and AI-generated content. This is an

on-site role

located in KLEco City, Kuala Lumpur.

Job Responsibilities:

Listen to and transcribe short audio clips (approximately 2 minutes) from various sources, including podcasts, TV programs, and movies. Accurately capture spoken English content, even when subtitles are unavailable. Ensure high-quality transcription with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Maintain consistency and attention to detail across different types of audio content. Meet project deadlines and follow task guidelines as instructed. Collaborate with the project team and provide feedback on audio quality or task-related issues when necessary.

Requirements:

Excellent command of English An educational background in linguistics or experience in language teaching is a major plus Management and/or QA experience in the data annotation industry will be preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work. Eager to learn new tools, guidelines, and processes. Capable of working independently as well as in a team setting. Good communication and collaboration skills.
