About the Role:
We are looking for AI Engineers to join our newly formed and expanding Data Excellence team within the Chief Revenue Office. We're hiring for AI Engineer and Junior AI Engineer positions, offering an exciting opportunity to build cutting-edge AI tooling and orchestration platforms that will transform how we deliver data solutions across the organization.
This role is perfect for engineers who are passionate about the intersection of software development, artificial intelligence, and workflow automation. You'll be instrumental in designing and implementing agentic AI systems that can autonomously execute complex data tasks and business processes.
Senior AI Engineer

• You are an experienced Software Engineer or AI Engineer with a proven track record of building production AI systems in a commercial setting.
• You have deep expertise in prompt engineering and designing effective human-AI interaction patterns.
• You are experienced with workflow orchestration tools and have hands-on experience with platforms like N8N or similar agentic workflow systems.
• You can work independently with minimal supervision, using your expertise to architect and implement complex AI solutions while maintaining alignment with company priorities.
• You enjoy mentoring junior colleagues and can guide the development of AI engineering capabilities within the team.

Junior AI Engineer

• You are an early-career engineer with foundational software development skills and a strong interest in AI and automation.
• You have some exposure to AI/ML concepts and are eager to develop expertise in prompt engineering and AI system design.
• You are curious about workflow automation and excited to learn tools like N8N for building agentic systems.
• You are collaborative, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Both Levels

• You are focused on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions to given timeframes.
• You can communicate effectively with colleagues across technical and business teams.
• You enjoy the collaborative aspects of engineering and form strong working relationships.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Lead AI Architecture: Design and implement sophisticated AI tooling and agentic workflow systems using N8N and other orchestration platforms.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the overall AI strategy of the Data Excellence team, identifying opportunities for AI automation and efficiency gains.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into AI-powered solutions.
• Technical Leadership: Establish best practices for AI engineering, including testing strategies, deployment patterns, and monitoring approaches.
• Learning & Growth: Actively develop skills in prompt engineering, AI system design, and workflow automation through paired programming and mentorship.
• Build and maintain AI agents that can autonomously execute data processing, analysis, and reporting tasks.
• Develop robust prompt engineering frameworks that ensure consistent, high-quality AI outputs.
• Create monitoring and alerting systems for AI workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and knowledge-sharing within the team.

Your Knowledge and Skills will include:
Required for Senior Level:

• Strong software development skills with proficiency in Python, Javascript and/or other modern programming languages.
• Advanced prompt engineering expertise with demonstrated ability to optimize AI interactions for business applications.
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools, particularly N8N or similar agentic platforms.
• Production AI experience including deployment, monitoring, and scaling of AI systems.
• API integration skills for connecting AI models with various business systems and data sources.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and leading technical initiatives.
• Strong communication skills for working with both technical teams and business stakeholders

Required for Junior Level:

• Foundational software development skills, preferably in Python or JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and eagerness to develop prompt engineering skills.
• Some exposure to workflow automation tools or willingness to quickly learn N8N and similar platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Nice to Have (Both Levels):

• Experience with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools.
• Understanding of AI safety and responsible AI practices.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms.
• Experience with LangChain, AutoGen, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Knowledge of fine-tuning techniques for large language models.
• Understanding of AI governance and compliance requirements.
• Experience with real-time streaming data and event-driven architectures.
