AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIAN We are looking to hire a detail-oriented Air Conditioning Technician to provide support and work with a team of in-house technicians on air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. The ideal candidate will be patient with excellent organisational and troubleshooting skills. Your new role Inspects, maintain and perform basic repairs on various types and brand of air conditioning system, with focus on split units, water cold package unit including VRV air conditioning system at Biovalley building. Performs regular preventive maintenance and corrective works on the campus air conditioning system. Diagnoses and troubleshoot control panel, electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions. Produce preventive maintenance report and feedback to supervisors. Supervise contractors during installation of air conditioning units. Provide technical support during university events and when required. Standby duty after working hours, on Sundays and public holidays according to roster as required. About You Possess a Certificate or Diploma in air conditioning and refrigeration system or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum two (2) years hands on technical experience in a related field. Knowledge and hands on experience in servicing, checking and installing air conditioning units. Capable of handling basic electrical/mechanical/instrumentation works. Knowledgeable in safety requirements. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Words, Excel. Demonstrated good customer service and oral communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people in a clear and professional manner, with cross cultural sensitivity. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work after office hours, weekends and public holidays when required.
