Job Overview:



As an

Air Operational Specialist

, you will be responsible for managing daily air export and import shipments, ensuring smooth and timely operations for key clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, carriers, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage daily air export/import shipments and ensure timely processing for key clients Coordinate with clients, service providers, and customs agents to ensure smooth operations Prepare and handle export documentation according to international regulations Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the system Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates or issues Negotiate space and rates with carriers and service providers Process quotes and RFQs, including intercompany and ad-hoc customer requests Ensure accurate invoicing, validate vendor bills, and manage accruals Follow internal SOPs, industry regulations, and contribute to process improvements Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

What We're Looking For:



Minimum 2-3 years of experience in air freight operations (export/import) Hands-on knowledge of export documentation and international shipping regulations Excellent communication and coordination skills with a customer-first mindset Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team

Pay: Up to RM5,000.00 per month

Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Required)
Experience:

Air Freight Customer Service or Operation: 2 years (Required)

English (Required)
