Job Summary:

The Air Conditioning Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires hands-on technical skills, a commitment to safety standards, and excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair various types of air-conditioning systems including split units, ceiling cassette, central air systems, and VRV/VRF systems. Conduct routine preventive maintenance, including checking refrigerant levels, cleaning coils, and replacing filters. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant safety and quality standards. Complete service reports, maintenance checklists, and other documentation accurately and on time. Provide technical advice and support to clients, offering recommendations when system replacements or upgrades are necessary. Ensure proper usage of tools, equipment, and company assets. Maintain cleanliness and organization at job sites and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Certificate or Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. PW4 / Wireman certification (advantageous but not mandatory).

Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in air-conditioning installation and maintenance. Fresh graduates with technical qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit and able to work in confined or elevated spaces.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
