Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AIX Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our AIX infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and optimal performance. This role involves working closely with a local engineer team, and requires expertise in AIX, VMWare, Windows, Linux, SQL, and Oracle on Linux and AIX. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, handle BAU tasks, and actively participate in infrastructure projects to support our organization\'s growth. Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as an AIX Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AIX operating systems.
- Proficiency in VMWare, Windows, Linux, SQL, and Oracle (on Linux and AIX).
- Experience with system administration tasks such as user management, backups, and security.
- Familiarity with capacity planning and performance monitoring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications in AIX or related technologies are a plus.
Contract length: 12 months Salary: From RM4,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
