Job Description
Job Summary The role holder provide installs, configures, and maintains Unix/Linux operating systems. Analyzes and resolved problems associated with the Operating systems servers, hardware, applications and software. Monitors systems performance and esures compliance with approved recommnedation by the IT Security Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall UNIX/LINUX administration and maintenance for Allianz Malaysia Berhad.
- Responsible of UNIX/LINUX system availability according to expected service and standard Maintenance
- Responsible of UNIX/LINUX vulnerability assessments
- Maintain SystemSecurity of UNIX/LINUX
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Responsible for IT capacity and performance management related to server
- Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Collaborating with other members to deliver project within time frame and measurement
- Any other duties as and when deemed necessary.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of UNIX/Linux system
- Knowledge on vulnerabitlity assessments on Unix/Linux system
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in unix/linux administration
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good project management skills.
- Good technical, analytical, communication and inter-personal skills.
