Job Description

Ambulance Paramedic will be responding to emergency ambulance call, perform non-emergency patient transport, critical care transport, under online and offline medical direction by Medical Director.

Provide prehospital emergency care to the sick and injured including advanced life support intervention, on site and enroute to hospital. Provide critical care to the severe ill patient during interfacility transfer. Perform routine non-emergency transport, ferrying patient to meet hospital appointment or back home from hospital. Respond to mass casualties incident or disaster incident, to provide medical assistance to the needy. Operate ambulance safely and responsibly, accordance to standard operating procedures and relevant authority regulations. Perform ambulance and equipment check and maintenance, ensure they are in optimum and highest readiness at all times. Up to date in knowledge and skills, actively enhance self capability and participate in clinical and non-clinical training including continuous medical education (CME).

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Paramedicine, Nursing, Medical Assistant or related field. Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia Positive attitude, high discipline, responsible, passionate on collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Adaptable to change, demonstrated capability in meeting new challenges. Good problem solving skills, able to navigate unexpected situations or conditions. Possess valid driving license (D)
