Client Background: leading analog/mixed-signal foundry manufacturing silicon wafers Industry: Semiconductor Location: Sarawak Position: AMHS Equipment Engineer Tenure: Permanent Job Responsibilities: (a) Responsible for the AMHS implementation in the fab. (b) Work with Operation, Industrial Engineering and IT team to analyze and define the AMHS equipment and process specifications. (c) Perform necessary engineering designs, prototyping and pilot testing on the AMHS new system/expansion. (d) Coordinate with AMHS vendors and production on AMHS hardware installation. Supervise AMHS vendors in the AMHS hardware installation works. (e) Work with building vendors on building preparation works. (f) Monitor and analyze AMHS hardware performance. Perform daily trouble shooting. (g) Oversee an AMHS support team to ensure smooth 24x7 running of the AMHS systems in the fab. (h) Establish work instructions, safety guidelines and training documents for the AMHS support team. (i) Oversee and ensure effective PM management and repairs for the AMHS. (j) Drive improvement actions for departmental KPI when necessary. (k) Initiate and lead AMHS continuous improvement projects with regards to cycle time, cost reduction, capacity etc. (l) Prepare yearly budget for use of equipment. (m) To contribute towards the achievement of quality objectives by complying to the quality operating system and participating in continuous improvement activities (defect prevention, reduction of variation or prevention of waste). (n) To contribute towards the achievement of the EHS objectives by complying to the EHS policy and participating in the implementation of EHS management system. (o) Undertake any other projects or future tasks and duties as assigned by the Manager
