Job Purpose Responsible to identify, assess and monitor Money Laundering (ML) / Terrorism Financing (TF) risks and Bribery & Corruption risks, report the Financial Crime Risk (ML/TF and B&C) risk analysis and findings regularly to Senior Management as well as provide advice to the Board, Senior Management and staff on Financial Crime Compliance (AML/CFT & B&C) requirements and ensure adequate FCC (AML/CFT & B&C) training is provided to the staff. Job Responsibilities To ensure efficient detection of suspected financing of terrorism and suspicious transactions To conduct transaction monitoring on new business transactions and ongoing transaction reports. To ensure effective and timely enforcement of all Search, Freezing, Seizure and Forfeiture Orders served by the enforcement agencies against insured / policy owner. To ensure staff awareness in relation to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing Terrorism (CFT) To assist the team in ensuring timely and effective communication to staff to ensure the necessary knowledge and awareness is effectively communicated to all level of staff. To ensure staff awareness in relation to Bribery & Corruption Participate in AML/CFT & AB&C transformation Project - to assist the team in ground work to ensure in compliance with regulatory requirements Job Requirement Tertiary qualification in Law/Accounting/Actuarial Science/Mathematician/Statistic/Business Management or equivalent professional qualification. Preferably with minimum of 3 years Banking and Insurance experience - Anti Money Laundering, Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk. Certification in AML/CFT (ICA/ACAMS) , Certification in Compliance (ICA/AICB) is an add advantage.
