Job Description

• Perform 1st Level denied party screening of shipment details by reviewing match information in the Denied Party Application (DPA)
• Analyse Denied Parties/Sanctions and export control high match shipments/non-shipments records against the agreed and approved lists (defined in GSOP)
• Update relevant systems with the results and actions taken in the review of the high match shipments
• Escalate all potential valid match shipment records to Level 2 screeners for enhanced screening.
• Release on hold shipments not escalated to Level 2
• Assist as directed by Senior Analyst, Supervisor and Manager in the research and review of escalated high match shipment records
• Participate in planning and directing the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations
• Duties as otherwise assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree Holder from a reputable academic institution or equivalent by experience
• Min 1-2 years of working experience in similar position or field
• 1 year experience in transportation or customs preferred.
• Experience in compliance, sanctions screening preferred
• Entry Level Job - specialist training provided
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), database and web-based applications
• Excellent oral and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills; courteous and clear telephone voice
• Proficiency on a 10 key number pad
• Fluent English and another regional language, depending on the region requirement (Korean, Japanese, Mandarin etc)
• Able to work quickly and accurately in high pressure environment under limited supervision
• High attention to details
• Able to perform detailed validation / research in multiple internal IT systems, internet, internal databases and hard copy files / documents
• Self-motivated, willingness to constantly have self-development
• Strong team player
