• The role holder will be required to support the delivery of strategic business objectives & initiatives across all aspects of the business and tracking the successful achievement of agreed action plans.
• The role is also the key liaison point with Global functions & Global businesses which include the use of regularly produced MI/BI reports and also ad-hoc analysis to manage business performance. This role is also the key person to coordinate for events, business initiatives and other internal activities.
• This role holder will be comfortable operating at executive level, navigating across geographies, and with a range of stakeholders globally, regionally and locally as well as across functions.
• The role will support the wider team of the Asia Pacific CEO Hub Team to ensure smooth running of the daily operation,

the role reports directly to Chief of Staff.Principal responsibilitiesImpact on the Business

• Support the Hub team and coordinate for the team to ensure timely delivery of reports.
• Coordinate and ensure people objective are managed within the target set.
• Support in strategic initiatives through events coordination.

Customers / Stakeholders

• Collaboration with Global businesses/ functions.
• Support external award submissions and preparation.
• Ensure all key initiatives are tracked and monitored to achieve the overall bank plan.

Leadership & Teamwork

• Work collaboratively across all business lines/ functions.
• Role model the HSBC values.
• Continue personal development and up-skilling and reach a capability level required of the specific role.

Operational Effectiveness & Control

• To safeguard the Bank from potential loss and reputational risk.
• Observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience, an undergraduate or post graduate degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• Ability to form effective relationships and influence at the senior level in the organization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management in the language of business.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Knowledge of system is a definite advantage.
