Primary liaison between the businesses as it relates to the create / read / update / delete of Master Data throughout the enterprise. The Master Data Management Analyst plays a business-critical role to identify, analyze, and implement all required process checks and ensure compliance with all appropriate Master Data governance. These process checks are performed in order to ensure that the proper product flow in MDG/SAP is followed, providing for seamless shipments and orders, payment of suppliers as well as an effective month-end close with minimal disruption to the business.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
Analyst will work directly with the customers to support and resolve challenges related to the mastering of critical business data. Applies relevant principles to support projects and ongoing activities.
Completes tasks which support business teams and assists in the development of business requirements in order to solve for Master Data related business problems. Leads department level initiatives or provides assistance to departmental managers on phases of larger projects.
May assist in supporting business continuity, relationship management, and business strategy.
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
Perform various Master Data Create/Read/Update/Delete responsibilities including the mandatory validations. Responsible for communicating Master Data creates / changes to internal and external customers in a timely manner.
Requires high degree of communicative ability due to multi-divisional and multi-functional issues. May be required to participate in process improvement teams.
Investigate and analyze product shipment/order issues, pertaining to masterdata setups and identify key data stake holders in resolving these issues. Provide data analysis to verify/validate data and drill down to identify root causes.
Understand the implications of Master Data as it relates to SAP and other business systems based on requirements. Gather/document business requirements for Master Data initiatives.
Leads, mentors and/or provides guidance to less experienced team members, where applicable, including guidance for troubleshooting escalated issues.
Applies and executes standard strategic business theories, concepts and techniques and assists in the development of Master Data standards and procedures. Process map "old world vs. new world" process flow for new implementation of SAP to sites worldwide.
Work with Global Master Data Team in supporting new product launches and integration of new business acquisitions
This will include active involvement across multiple functional groups (e.g. Operations, Commercial, Regulatory/QA, Finance, IT), all Divisions within the Abbott, as well as various Corporate functions (e.g. Tax, Transfer Price).
These activities are critical to the continued long-term success of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS :
B.A./B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology or Finance preferred.
Proficient in English & Thai languages, written & verbal.
5+ years of professional experience in project management, customer service stakeholder management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment.
Ability to prioritize many incoming demands and differentiate on level of importance.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Fast learner, able to adjust to new environment (systems and business process issues).
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior management
Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
