Job Description

Responsible for conducting performance analysis of PV power plants including the following:

• Using existing analytical tools to generate periodic internal and external performance reports which communicate overall PV plant performance
• Using existing analytical tools to generate ad-hoc reports with limited oversight
• Independently identifying performance problems or data anomalies from existing reports and using analysis methods, plant logs, and inquiries to explain and remedy the source of those problems with limited direction
• Investigating specific PV Plant performance questions and concerns with limited oversight
• Troubleshooting common problems with plant measurement equipment and remedy those problems by working with site technicians with limited direction
• Driving continuous improvements by identifying deficiencies in existing tools and methods
• Participating as a team member in testing new techniques for PV Plant analysis with direction from team leaders
• Completing specific project efforts such as root cause investigations, software development efforts, or other projects with limited oversight
• Support the departments hiring efforts by helping screen and select candidates
• Generate plant predictions, read engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Set up data flow and database structure for new sites. Validate data is complete and high quality in the first 90 days of plant operation
