Oversee and manage a number of key development projects within the firm including some of which are detailed below:
Develop and produce a reporting analysing the P&L derived from various elements of our derivatives product offering
Oversee and code a multi-threaded adopter ingesting FIX Protocol data and using Java or C++ development a programme which can identify and initiate orders into the market based on certain soft coded criteria which can be amended on the fly
Oversee and code/validate code quality of other coders on a number of other dev related projects primarily using C++, Java, Python and maybe certain other languages. Knowledge of SQL is necessary
Supervise coding team on a day to day basis and mentor them ensuring the best practices are put in place regarding coding, documentation of code, version control of both code and documentation and build a secure repository of code
Oversee UAT/QA of any code before it is put into production environment
Support traders during the APAC, London or New York trading sessions with a focus on trading P&L validation, Margin Utilisation with Liquidity Providers and likewise with clients to ensure that sufficient funds are always deployed so that neither clients, nor the firm has a lack of financial resources in place to support 24-hour trading across multiple asset classes
Communicate and implement coding solutions to automate reporting from a multitude of perspectives
Identify and solve weaknesses within the organisation and code solutions to address those weaknesses in reporting and data analysis
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years to 4-year work experience in as a programmer with knowledge of Java, Python, C++, SQL and other coding languages. FIX Protocol knowledge a huge advantage but not critical
Minimum Qualification: Graduate Programmer BSc Computer Science/ BSc Electronic Engineering BSc in Infosys/ Data Analytics or similar technology qualification(s)
Highly proficient in MS Excel and regular proficiency in MS Office Suite
Strong coding, written and verbal communication skills
