General Overview Functional Area: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Career Stream: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Role: Analyst (ANA) Job Title: Analyst, SCM Data Job Code: ANA-SCM-SCD Job Level: Level 07 Direct/Indirect Indicator: Indirect Summary The SCM Data Analyst is to facilitate commodity management quarterly negotiation process by preparing forecast data to the commodity managers, tracking the negotiation results and generating reports. The role includes but not limited to conducting required data analysis, providing insights and driving productivity to improve cost savings. Detailed Description Generating forecast and related negotiation data from the system Setting up negotiation databases Creating and maintaining negotiation projects in Quote App Tracking negotiation status and publishing results Conduct TCOO Analysis Providing continuous improvements through data insights Knowledge / Skills / Competencies: General knowledge of manufacturing, procurement and electronics Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills Good time management, be able to deliver according to schedule Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal customers Self-motivated, be able to work under minimum supervision Fast learner and detail oriented Ability to work assertively to achieve objectives Excellent data management and computer skills Proficiency in MS Excel and Access Team player and positive attitude Typical Experience 4-6 years of relevant work experience in supply chain Typical Education Post-secondary education or university degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Computer Science or equivalent Notes This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
