We are looking to hire a best-in-class S&PD Analyst to assist Strategy & Program Delivery Director and team with overall strategy development (strategic planning, strategic projects and program management) for Philip Morris Malaysia (PMM). This position will also support and collaborate with business units within PMM on key strategic analysis and initiatives. The role is based in 1Powerhouse, Selangor, Malaysia. Key responsibilities: Working alongside the S&PD team with: . Strategic planning & reporting: support the annual strategic planning process, long-range planning, implement KPI framework and collate and synthe market-level competitor intelligence for both RRP and CC market . Strategic projects: formulate and execute major cross functional projects that deliver either revenue growth, cost savings, productivity gains, new capabilities, optimized processes and/or new business. . Strategic support: initiatives that assist business units with revenue growth, cost savings, productivity gains, new capabilities, optimized processes and/or new business. . Program Management: track, monitor and manage the execution of strategy, projects and initiatives (e.g. timeline, budget, resources, issues, risks, etc.) . Lead or support strategic projects or initiatives (depending on and complexity) . Support businesses with key strategic analysis or validation (independent assessments as and when needed) Essential Skills and competencies: . Strategic analysis: ability to think critically and problem solve, work with large volumes and variety of data, attention to detail, derive hypothesis driven insights and executable recommendations based on that data . Project management: able to monitor and manage small- and large-scale projects which include time management of key deadlines and ability to troubleshoot when needed (e.g. escalate and/or resolve issues) . Stakeholder engagement: strong interpersonal, communication and presentation - ability to present key initiatives to business teams and leaders obtain buy-in and drive decision making proactively share findings (progress updates) . Dynamic mindset: self-starter with positive attitude, independent, resilient and able to work in dynamic environment, ability to meet key project deadlines . Strong Microsoft Office skills: must have sufficient understanding of Word, PowerPoint and Excel as analyst will be required to prepare memos, presentation decks and simple financial models . Experience: minimum 4 years work experience in either corporate strategy / development, consulting or other relevant roles . Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree preferable in Marketing, Business Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance
