Prepare samples and perform routine laboratory testing according to specification for finished product testing.
Prepare and update SOPs, specification and test methods.
Prepare standard solution for analysis.
Competent in handling of laboratory equipment necessary to carry out experimental/laboratory work with minimum supervision.
Perform verification and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation such pH meter and analytical weighing balance.
Follow-up/arrangement for instrument preventive maintenance/instrument breakdown, basic job cleaning/troubleshooting/maintenance of the instrument. Instrumentation such as Karl Fischer machine, gas chromatography, HPLC and another related instrument.
Maintain and update test method and documentation for analytical section.
Handle in chemical purchase, keep chemical updated and make sure all chemicals are in stock.
Responsible in maintain and take proper care of all laboratory equipment, instruments, glassware, reagents and solvent used in laboratory.
Basic troubleshoot knowledge for lab instrument or equipment in case any issue rises during sample analysis.
Able to generate lab report and demonstrate scientific analytic skills.
Able to communicate well and work in teams.
Respect and always protect company confidentiality.
Requirements
Min. bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, or other equivalent background.
Required skill: Communication skill (both verbal and written), computer literacy
Minimum 1-2 year working experience preferably in Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical Industry.
Analytical knowledge and hand-on experience in at least one of the following equipment: HPLC, GC-FID, ICP-OES and Karl Fischer Titrator.
Possess good interpersonal and communication skill.
Good understanding of Design and Development Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Test Methods.
Computer literacy in using software such as Microsoft Words, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical, multitasking.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Willingness to learn and take over new responsibilities and challenges.
Knowledge in cGMP/GLP procedures & work experience in the related field will be an added advantage.
