The Role Responsibilities

• Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective)
• Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.
• Perform COBOL / JCL / REST API / SOAP API coding and testing, aligning to best practices for efficient system performance.
• User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set-up / configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.
• Ensures business needs are met whilst delivering within budget and with quality.
• Consistently looking for service improvements areas / plans.
• Engages stakeholders on a regular basis on the progress of the projects and initiatives.
• JIRA/ Confluence updates.
• Supports project deployment activities and post implementation monitoring.
• Supports production issue investigation and resolution whenever need arises.
• Comply to System Development Framework (SDF), Quality Management Framework (QMF) or Disciplined Agile Delivery, and Risk Mitigation framework which includes ensuring process, security, regulatory, and audit requirements are met.
• Achieve Common and other objectives across Global Technology.
• Take initiative in developing teams\xe2\x80\x99 development plan and discuss with concerned parties (in ILDP).
• Resume all Sev 1 / 2 / 3 tickets within SLA.
• No repeat of incident or escalated issue due to project implemented / fixes put in.
• All change requests submitted with full details and on time for ECRB / CB CAB approval.
• Builds resourcing capability (quality and quantity) to meet business demands.
• Must be adaptive and welcoming constant changes.

• Awareness of understanding credit card business.

• Have knowledge in credit card or debit card system. Knowledge in CardLink is an advantage.

• Responsible to lead and deliver the given project within agreed budget and timeline.

• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their project team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.

• Responsibilities relating to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group, as well as an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them.

• Awareness and understanding of the processes and delivery framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Other Responsibilities

• Embed Here for good and Group\xe2\x80\x99s brand and values in MY / IT-Projects CPBB Core Platform; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats).

Our Ideal Candidate

• Working experience in Cardlink Credit Card Systems or other equivalent credit card systems on mainframe platform.
• Must possess at least 6 - 8years experience in CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, MVS, z / OS and mainframe environment.
• Possess knowledge in API, SOLACE, JAVA Easytrieve, REXX, SAS, ABEND AID, FileAid, Endeavor, Expeditor would be added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Agile project delivery and DevOps tools.
• Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks / projects.
• Possess self-initiative and work with minimal supervision.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

• Mainframe Cobol (Minimum 6 - 8 years experiences in COBOL coding)
• Mainframe JCL and VSAM (Minimum 6 - 8 years experiences in coding)
• REST API / SOAP API
• JIRA
• Confluence
