  • Adhere to established safety and food safety standards, including 5S, Housekeeping, and HACCP protocols.
  • Identify and address performance issues promptly during escalation.
  • Review and assess corrective and preventive measures to prevent frequent breakdowns.
  • Conduct inspections, lubrication, scheduled work, troubleshooting, and repairs to enhance line performance, machine reliability, and reduce unplanned breakdowns.
  • Lead or participate in all TPM activities.
  • Lead and participate in RCFA (5 Why analysis).
  • Execute the de-tagging process daily.
  • Lead immediate and major breakdown repairs.
  • Perform breakdown analysis and identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with technicians to determine possible causes and minimize downtime.
  • Lead improvement initiatives through Kaizen to maintain process performance.
  • Attend key shift handover meetings, understand losses, and contribute to improvement strategies.
  • Monitor work orders from the SAP system, ensuring timely and proper execution.
Key Requirements:
  • Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering with at least 5 years of experience, preferably 3 years in an FMCG environment.
  • Competent Chargeman Certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia, minimum AO level.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical control systems, process automation, instrumentation, power distribution, and interlocking systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC (S5 & S7), automated packaging machinery, and utilities plants is advantageous.
  • Understanding of ISO quality management procedures and requirements.
  • Capable of performing mechanical and electrical repairs, scheduling, and overhaul jobs, with a preference for knowledge of mix proof valve maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently in varying shift patterns (24/7, including weekends).
  • Proficient in spoken and written English with adequate presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
