Ap Analyst

Job Description

This role supports end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and month-end activities, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies. The position also involves working with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate and timely financial records.

  • Process PO and non-PO invoices accurately and on time in line with internal policies and SLAs.
  • Perform invoice verification and matching, and resolve discrepancies with relevant teams.
  • Prepare and process vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed payment terms.
  • Maintain vendor master data and perform regular vendor statement reconciliations.
  • Support month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Handle vendor and internal queries related to invoices and payments in a professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and accounting standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
  • Actively use and maintain transactions within Microsoft Dynamics (Advantage) to ensure data accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support standardisation initiatives within the AP function.

A successful AP Analyst should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in accounts payable processes within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
