The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies and applications, proven leadership and managerial capabilities and will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our NGS solutions by providing technical expertise, managing customer interactions, and leading a team dedicated to exceptional field application support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of Field Application Support specialists as the field support team grow.
2. NGS Technical Expertise:
Serve as a subject matter expert in NGS technologies and applications.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field and provide strategic insights to the team.
3. Customer Interaction:
Interact with customers to understand their NGS applications, challenges, and research goals.
Collaborate with the team to deliver technical support, troubleshooting, and application guidance.
4. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless customer experiences and to address customer needs.
5. Training and Development:
Develop and deliver training programs for the Field Application Support team, sales team, channel partner.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Field Application Support scope.
Analyse customer feedback and team performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
7. Customer Success:
Collaborate with the sales team to contribute to customer success and satisfaction.
Engage with key accounts and high-profile customers to build and maintain strong relationships.
8. Documentation and Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions and resolutions.
Generate regular reports on team performance, customer trends, and other relevant metrics.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
Master's degree or above in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
2. Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in NGS technologies and applications.
3. Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Technical Proficiency:
In-depth knowledge of NGS technologies and applications.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Customer-Focused:
Customer-centric approach with a passion for ensuring customer success.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Adaptability:
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
7. Travel:
Willingness to travel to other countries as needed to provide field application support. About 50%.
