Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support and guidance to the sales team while also leveraging your deep understanding of research and development to contribute to product improvement and innovation. You will serve as a key liaison between the company\'s R&D department and clients, ensuring that customer needs are met while also driving revenue growth through effective sales techniques.s:
Technical Support: Providing expert technical assistance to the sales team throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, solution presentations, and addressing customer inquiries.
R&D Collaboration: Collaborating closely with the company\'s R&D department to stay updated on product developments, upcoming releases, and technological advancements. Provide feedback from the field to contribute to product improvement and innovation.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the APAC region by understanding their technical requirements, offering tailored solutions, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
Responsible for establishing a technical relationship with the customer industry, following the stages of product development together with the RD team of the production plant taking care of relations and customer satisfaction
Sales Strategy: Work with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies for the APAC market, leveraging your technical expertise to highlight product strengths and differentiate from competitors.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to the sales and R&D teams based on your analysis.
Travel: Travel within the APAC region as necessary to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support the sales team in achieving their objectives.Job Qualifications:
Bachelor in Food Technology or Industrial or Related Chemistry
Experience in a similar role of at least 5 years in the food industry in R&D and/or commercial
Knowledge of the main production processes of the food industry
Experience in Project Management
Good organizational and planning skills;
Proactivity towards both internal and external customers;
Excellent command of English and Mandarin (will be an added advantage)
Willingness to travel and travel within Asia.This position is based in Unigra Food Processing Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, local contract
