Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Application Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be involved in the development of hardware and software solutions for the Testing, Qualification and Reliability validation trials of Semiconductor devices.

This role requires solid knowledge of HW Electronic Design, Test Program development, Circuit Simulation and offers the opportunity to work in an international environment across different technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Preliminary feasibility analysis and technical review of customer specifications In-depth study of the device datasheet and understanding of its electrical and functional characteristics Design of custom hardware applications, such as Burn-in Boards and Load boards Simulation and verification of hardware using tools like SPICE or similar Preparation of layout specifications and final review of the board CAD layout and related documentation Development and debugging of test programs for functional and reliability testing, including generation of programming vectors, conversion of customer-provided patterns and creation of custom test flows to simulate the device's functional behavior and specific reliability stress conditions Performing prototype bring-up, test execution and device debugging in full autonomy Preparation of technical documentation, both internal and customer-facing Support to production and test teams during the validation and series testing of manufactured boards

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field Knowledge of Digital, Analog, mixed-signal circuits and Design for Test (DFT) principles Experience in electronic design and simulation (SPICE, LTspice, etc.) Familiarity with PCB layout tools and EDA (Electronic Design Automation) environments Basic programming knowledge (C, C++ or Python) Good communication skills and fluency in English Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking and teamwork Proactive, adaptable and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
