Provide first and second level support in handling order routing enquiry, trading disruption, troubleshooting and respond within SLA.
Liaising between IT programmers and other stakeholders when IT issues occur.
Escalate promptly and decisively when problem faced is beyond containment.
Monitoring of projects schedule and system integrity/stability;
Maintain the daily application hotline;
Liaise with external application vendors on maintenance support
Perform user acceptance testing for each system change;
Requirements
Advanced Diploma/Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
2-year application support, troubleshooting and testing experience
Software development experience in modern programming languages, such as C#, ASP.net or Classic ASP 3.0 and MS SQL server will be a competitive advantage
Experience in the financial services industry or Equity Trading will be a competitive advantage
Detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined, with ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal oversight in a professional and timely manner
Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Able to understand business logic after discussion or self-study
Have good communication skills
