Job Description

What You Will Do:
\xc2\xb7 Provide routine service and sales support in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance and continuous improvement plans.
\xc2\xb7 Assist with plant surveys of prospective customers.
\xc2\xb7 Assist with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and new accounts.
\xc2\xb7 Develop strong relationships with the key stakeholders in the strategic district accounts where you provide service support.
\xc2\xb7 Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required.
\xc2\xb7 Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
\xc2\xb7 Support services include: Sample testing, light maintenance, customer service, service report generation, chemical ordering, chemical inventory management, general labor activities.
\xc2\xb7 Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in engineering (chemical/industrial/environmental)
\xc2\xb7 Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
\xc2\xb7 Proactive, independent, and positive attitude with a business mindset.
\xc2\xb7 Must have a valid Driver\'s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Preferred Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems would be an advantage.
\xc2\xb7 1 to 2 years experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industry.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to sell value-added products to customers.
\xc2\xb7 Strong mechanical aptitude.
\xc2\xb7 Able to speak local dialects.

Our expectation for this role, candidates must be willing to work:- * Hands-on: Roll their sleeves up to service the customers (Not office environment)

• Manufacturing environment: Under the sun, on-site.
• Customers facing: Ability to present the monthly reports to customers.
