Execute product benchmarking trials at lab and pilot plant scale for all the application segments identified.
Supporting new product scale up by running application trials to ensure product efficacy.
Support the preparation of samples and food product prototypes for customers.
Support evaluation and documentation of test outcomes, and report preparation.
Administers the day-to-day application lab activities including experiments, records and housekeeping.
Maintain equipment, consumables and ingredients in the application lab in a safe and hygienic condition.
Maintain the application lab in neat and hygienic conditions in line with 6S practices.
Monitor the raw materials or ingredients stocks level and feedback to Department Administrator accordingly.
Ensure product quality and prompt delivery according to schedule.
Assist Department Administrator in library keeping.
To perform any other duties as and when required.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Food Technology / Food Science, or relevant background. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Candidates with 1 - 2 years of industrial relevance, strong analytical and problem solving skills will be preferred.
Candidates with practical experience in dairy and ice cream products have an added advantage.
Candidates with experience from the Emulsifier, Stabilisers or Food Ingredients industries have an added advantage.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Computer literate and well versed in Microsoft Office.
Applicants must be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Highly motivated, a self-starter and eager to succeed.
Mature, independent and fast learner.
Flexible and willing to work beyond normal working hours.
