What would your role look like?

a) TSR, Projects and Business support:

• Plan and carry out all activities for the execution of TSR and projects related to product development or new applications. Activities included prototype processing, microbiology testing, sensory evaluation, acidification, rheology and product analysis.
• Analyze the trial request and propose the best technical strategy.
• Define experimental set up, analytical and shelf life follow up, sourcing of raw materials and packaging.
• Run the trials in conformity with trials objectives :

• Write the trial protocol, carry out the trial to prepare prototype and collect relevant analytical data
• Communicate and Deliver the trial output on time
• Write trial report
• Evaluate the quality of prototypes
• update in lab and sales management system
• Support Sales in promotional campaigns and client events, like roadshow, exhibition, Innovation days etc.

• promote innovative applications and propose relevant prototypes
• organize prototyping activity
• Assist in the preparation of supportive material, especially in the technical aspects.

b) Identify business opportunities:

• Application Specialist should proactively identify technical opportunities to support customers through our products and services. Those opportunities can relate to client\'s product superiority, industrial efficiency and product innovation.
• Internal activities related to Excellence in Lab and Technical Platform.
• Support all activities to maintain high level of excellence in laboratory and prototyping platform:

• Performance and Calibration of analytical tools
• Performance and set up of equipment
• Revision of procedures, organization, SOP etc.
• Optimization of experimental efficiency, In compliance with Security, Hygiene & Food Safety procedures
• Contribute to further develop the experimental capability:

• Keep updated in analytical methods related to Cultures, Enzymes and Dairy technology
• Has a critical thinking on the efficiency of activities in the lab
• Seek for methods, new tools or equipment to optimize current experimental practices

c) On site client assistance:

• The Application Specialist should have or develop experience in Industrial processing to bring assistance to our customers with high-class technical advice and trouble-shooting. Seek the help and assistance of RAC or Global Application for complex mission. This responsibility covers the following missions :

• Set up of field trials for new cultures and enzymes or for client new application
• Product Quality defects and troubleshooting
• Factory audit on global hygiene, hygiene design and phage risk
• Training in Dairy technology, analytical methods and microbiology

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor level or above in Food science, Microbiology or equivalent
• Experienced and passionate with food cultures, enzymes, and fermented milk products
• Knowledge in Food processing , understanding of Industrial set up and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Comfortable with Experimental Methodologies: mathematics, statistics, modeling tools , Practice of Sensory evaluation
• Strong analytical thinker, detail oriented, problem solving & handy in practical matters
• Networking attitude, positive mindset and good communication skills
• Autonomous and skilled in seeking knowledge and information from both internal and external sources
• Fluent English
