Responsibilities & Skills

Lattice Semiconductor is looking for a Technical Lead for the Applications & Technical Support (TS) Engineering team, with expertise in vision & imaging solutions. This is a global position that will provide technical leadership and foundation to enable worldwide customer engagement.

• Drive debug and issue resolution for customers, including direct engagement with strategic customers critical to Lattice business. Demonstrate breadth in resolution of issues that range across various industries, applications and use cases. Specifically adept at enabling vision and imaging solutions.
• Define methodology for more efficient debug and troubleshooting across the full spectrum of the FPGA development cycle, including areas such as RTL design, PCB board design, FPGA architecture, FPGA timing closure, soft-IP integration, embedded systems design, implementation for protocols across various industries, and more.
• Transform TS ticket trends & root cause into engineering improvements. This includes improving design collaterals to enhance the customers\xe2\x80\x99 development journey (Reference Designs, User Guides, Application Notes), and engaging with R&D teams on product definition to meet customer needs.
• Augment the Lattice field team by providing technical guidance via technical trainings and developing new design collaterals.
• Play an integral role in the transformation of the TS organization. Mentor and grow the next generation of engineers as part of organizational development to form specialized engineers for comprehensive coverage.

• 10 years of FPGA experience, either as a developer, or designer/user.
• Expertise in vision and imaging applications, familiarity with vision protocols such as MIPI, experience building vision solutions and designs are added advantages.
• Demonstrated expertise in debug across silicon, software, IP, board, and RTL design.
• Ability to work through ambiguities and define processes that scales the team to support more products and higher complexity issues.
• Outstanding communication skills and stakeholder management. Experience with direct customer engagement is a plus.
• Excel in working across functional teams, sites and cultures.
