Key Responsibilities:

Own and champion Edwards\xe2\x80\x99 suite of observability tools.
Obtain, process, host, and analyze large amounts of telemetry and logging data from an array of different systems.
Build useful integrations, self-healing patterns, and other reusable components that engineers can consume.

Requirements:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience.
8+ years of industry experience.
Experience with JVM profiling and distributed tracing tools like OpenTelemetry, OpenTracing, Jaeger
Experience with large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems running in a public cloud environment (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with containers and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
Expert-level use of observability tools like Prometheus, Cortex, Grafana, Dynatrace, DataDog, Splunk, etc.
In-depth expertise with aggregating logs in a large enterprise setting
Past examples in a production setting of issue discovery through automated correlation and anomaly detection
Strong software engineering fundamentals in a major industry language (i.e. Python, Go, JavaScript, Java, etc.).
