Defines client needs, determines a strategy and develops a plan/proposal for delivery of the project which generally leads to a client\'s internal process or function being modified for improved efficiency and effectiveness. May involve the recommendation to shift future performance to a third party. Performance is typically evaluated based on the capture of the business opportunity and/or utilization, (i.e., billable hours). Working at NTT Architecture Consultants participate in the delivery of multi-technology consulting services to clients by providing strategies and solutions on all aspects of infrastructure and related technology components. This position collaborates with other stakeholders on the development of the architectural approach for one or more layers of a solution. Their objective is to work on strategic projects that ensure the optimal functioning of the client\'s technology infrastructure. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Bring subject matter expertise related to multi-technology infrastructure design best practices. Work in partnership with internal stakeholders on the development of the architectural approach for one or more layers of a solution. Participate in the investigation, planning, coordination, and preparation of feasibility studies relative to new computer-based systems and modifications to existing systems. Work on strategies and solutions that define meta-architectural designs for solutions, addressing the styles, mechanisms and principles that combine to formulate the architectural vision for a specific environment. Collaborate with stakeholders on the development of new services to take to market, information on relevant vertical markets and keep up to date on developments in specific technology domains Participate in the pre-sales process. Collaborate with sales on selling solutions and services. Engage with clients. Participate in the delivery of business development processes including opportunity identification, presales, scoping, deal closing and driving delivery. Design principle methodologies to perform a detailed analysis of the client requirements. Present clients with solutions and convince and persuade internal and external stakeholders of the right course of action. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Specialist knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs Excellent understanding of multi-technology infrastructure design couple with strategic thinking ability. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships Knowledge of systems, software and programming languages Ability to focus on detail with an understanding of how it impacts the business strategically Excellent client service orientation Ability to work in high-pressure situations Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business Ability to create new and repeat business for the organization Able to contribute to the development of new services to take to market Able to contribute information on relevant vertical markets Able to contribute to the improvement of internal effectiveness by contributing to the improvement of current methodologies, processes and tools Academic Qualifications and Certifications: Degree in relevant field TOGAF Required Experience: Demonstrable experience in a similar role within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment Multi-technology infrastructure design experience Demonstrable level of expertise coupled with consulting and client engagement experience, demonstrating good experience in client needs assessment and change management What will make you a good fit for the role
