Area Coordinators / Construction Coordinators will be assigned to take care of the installation of their functional area(s) on site. They will be the contact windows for the contractor, client\xe2\x80\x99s Area Coordinator and Area design lead regarding the functional area(s) assigned to them. They will be coordinating all activities such as space management, routings, materials tracking, sequence of work, general work permit review and sign-off, SIPP review and coordination, interfacing with Tool Owners and vendors etc. for successful completion of all CAT1 & CAT2 milestones for all the tools in their functional area(s). Meantime they will also need to oversee safety, ITP prevention and quality installation for their areas.

Area coordinators shall be working closely with client\xe2\x80\x99s counterparts to align on services turn-on schedules and solving of critical issues. ACs shall also be responsible to identify change request work and all work outside of original contract scope and report to the management as required. Area coordinators will lead AARs and investigate on incidents on the tools under their functional areas.

Area coordinators shall be working closely with their counterparts to lead & attend construction incident investigation, AAR preparation and actions follow up.

Review construction method statement. Ensure that subcontractors are following the approved method statement for executing the works on site.

Attend and/or chair Kick-off meeting, TO3 meeting, Whiteboard meeting, Safety and Quality Site Walk and any other meeting as required. Lead the design kick-off release meeting in the field with design leads/Tool Owners/Subcontractors to ensure that all scope of work needed for a tool are discussed and will be captured in the IFC.

Work closely with client\xe2\x80\x99s Area counterparts to tackle and resolve all issues in the functional area(s) assigned, escalate issues to the CM or PM if/when required.

Supervise and be responsible for the EHS activities for the work being assigned to him. Any unsafe activities/behavior shall be stopped immediately and reported to immediate supervisor and safety engineer/manager in charge. Attend Daily Toolbox Meeting, Pre-task Planning review meeting. Required work permit must be in place before work commences on site. Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained for areas being assigned. Always maintain \xe2\x80\x9cClean as You Go\xe2\x80\x9d.

Supervise and be responsible for the installation quality of the works being assigned. Conduct regular site inspections using the inspection and testing process as a guideline. Spot checks on material to ensure that it is compliant with approved submittal and project standards. Identify defects and reject the material / components prior to installation. Check and ensure that the site installation details comply with the approved standards, GB code and/or SSUD. Inspection reports, testing records need to be filled in, signed off and filed by QA/QC department. Inform QAQC department to issue Non-Compliance Report (NCR) for any installation that is not compliant with approved specification, submittal, sample, mockup and method statement or GB code. Monitor and organize the subcontractor to close the NCR in a timely manner.

Monitor and control the materials delivery and installation schedule to ensure that all CAT1 & CAT2 milestones are completed timely. Provide weekly forecasts for ODD, pre-fac, CAT1 & CAT2 activities as required by the CM and Schedule Manager.

Check and approve Red line drawings / documentations regularly. Record and keep track of the punch list items to ensure they are being closed in a timely manner.
