AJ Best Holdings Sdn Bhd is the official master franchise for Chick'nCone, a globally recognized fast-casual food concept originating from the United States Pennsylvania. The brand is famous for its innovative and convenient approach to fried chicken, served in a hand-rolled waffle cone and enjoyed "fork-free." The Malaysian franchise aims to bring this unique concept to the local market, offering a new experiential dining trend that merges American street-style flavor with Malaysian consumer preferences.

Position Overview

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, profitability, manpower management, product quality, and customer service standards across multiple ChicknCone outlets. The role ensures that each outlet operates in alignment with the company's operational standards, franchise requirements, and sales targets. This position requires strong leadership, mobility, and hands-on operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities & Detailed Duties

A. Operations Management

Supervise daily operations of multiple outlets to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance to ChicknCone SOPs. Conduct regular outlet visits and operational audits to monitor performance. Implement action plans to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
B. Sales & Profitability

Monitor daily sales performance and ensure each outlet meets or exceeds revenue targets. Develop and execute marketing and promotional activities to drive sales growth. Analyze P&L reports, manage cost of goods sold (COGS), and reduce wastage. Ensure correct implementation of upselling techniques and customer engagement strategies.
C. Manpower Planning & Leadership

Supervise and support Team Leaders in workforce scheduling, leave management, and performance tracking. Conduct coaching, training, and performance evaluations for outlet staff. Handle disciplinary matters and recommend promotions or transfers.
D. Customer Service & Brand Standards

Ensure all outlets deliver exceptional customer service and adhere to brand quality standards. Address and resolve customer escalations promptly. Monitor online reviews and manage customer satisfaction strategies.
E. Inventory & Compliance

Oversee stock management, ordering, and usage according to FIFO principles. Ensure outlets comply with food safety, HACCP, and Halal requirements. Conduct regular stock counts and investigate variances.
F. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare weekly and monthly reports on outlet performance. Work closely with Procurement, HR, and Finance departments to coordinate operational needs. Participate in management meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education: Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: Minimum 4-6 years in F&B outlet management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or multi-outlet role. This role requires extensive travel between outlets. Mandatory relocation based on company operational requirements. Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours when necessary.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
