Responsibilities:
General

• Execute the delivery of Ariba system implementation activities for IT projects and other IT initiatives, working with an external implementation partner (Consultants), Guthrie stakeholders and the support services vendor (Shared Services).
• Support Project Lead and PMO in Ariba system planning, testing, deployment, implementation, and change management in Ariba Sourcing and Ariba Contract
• Configure and implement Ariba Sourcing and Ariba Contract modules.
• Work closely with Guthrie's Procurement team to plan, deploy and monitor S2P strategy, procedures, and standards to be successfully implemented via Ariba.
• Responsible to lead the data gathering & process designing /alignment across the global procurement fraternity.
• To support the implementation of Ariba in accordance with SLA and Target Operating Models
• Ensure end-user perspectives are incorporated into the design of the system and process changes.
• Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of system training programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to Ariba and/or Ariba -SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Manage risk and issues, escalating them for decision-making at appropriate levels of authority, while ensuring minimal impact to project delivery timeline and costs.
• Ensure transition between phases of projects are executed seamlessly from business and vendor perspective, with minimal re-work needed between phases.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant Guthrie policies, procedures and audits.
• Perform and report system change requests, updates and new releases functionalities to the design and configuration of the system.

SAP Ariba Module Expertise
Ariba Sourcing

• Configure RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) including templates, scoring criteria, and evaluation workflows.
• Set up sourcing events with dynamic bidding rules, supplier invitations, and response tracking.
• Enable collaborative sourcing features such as team participation, internal comments, and scenario analysis.
• Customize award scenarios and automate supplier selection based on weighted scoring and business rules.
• Integrate sourcing events with supplier master data and contract creation workflows

Ariba Contract

• Configure contract workspaces, templates, clauses, and approval workflows.
• Set up contract authoring using clause libraries and dynamic templates.
• Enable contract compliance tracking, renewal alerts, and milestone monitoring.
• Integrate contract management with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Material Management (MM) for downstream procurement process visibility.
• Support e-signature integration (e.g., DocuSign, Adobe Sign) for digital execution.

Integration & Data Management

• Integrate Ariba Sourcing and Contracts with SAP Material Management (MM), Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance (SLP) using Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) or middleware.
• Manage master data synchronization for suppliers, materials, and contract metadata.
• Ensure data migration from legacy systems and validate data integrity post-deployment.

User Roles & Access

• Define and configure user roles, permissions, and access controls
• Set up delegation, proxy, and workflow escalation rules.

Vendor Management

• Ensuring the Vendor/Consultants deliver on their deliverables (as per the SOW)
• Review of the vendor/consultants' deliverables
• Ensuring the governance for deliverables (document signoffs, etc.)

Stakeholders Management

• Communicate with project stakeholders (Clients, Vendors, etc.)
• Prepare and review communication with stakeholders.
• Follow-up with stakeholders to ensure projects activities are completed on time.

Reporting

• Ensuring the presentation materials are ready for Project meetings (Weekly PMO, Steerco, Board)
• Ensure accurate capturing of Minutes of Meetings

Reports to:

• Direct report to Project Manager (s)

Requirements:

• Degree in IT/ Business Administration, or similar quantitative disciplines
• SAP Ariba certification in relevant S2P modules (Ariba Sourcing / Ariba Contract)
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of working experience in Ariba system implementation
• Tertiary education and/or Bachelor's degree with experience in the related business/field.
• Source-to-pay process / system proficiency.
• Proficiency in business management, statistics & analytics.
• Ability to influence others and achieve common goals.
• Exceptional ability to solve problems and think analytically.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to adopt and drive changes.
• Great organizational, project, and time management skills.
• Willing to work on a contract basis.
