Job Description

1. Organize, curate or host exhibitions as well as related events (bazaars, showcase, performance, students & lecturers' showcase/ exhibition etc) that: -

Promote the principles/values of the company. Enhance the brand image/reputation of the company. Generate publicity for the company. Support community empowerment.

2. Educational programs for In-reach & Outreach purposes

Organize or host seminars, conferences, talks and workshops related to art and design for students, staffs and public. Coordinate with lecturers, artists, and students to support exhibition-related projects and academic collaboration. Coach and mentor students, supporting their development in exhibition set up such as space planning and management of the gallery.

3. Dasein's Art and Design Collection (DADC)

Manage and organize the collection. To record and inventorize the works in the collection. Build the collection through purchases or donations. Enhance the collection through showcases and exhibitions. Organize exhibitions or coordinate artwork displays within the different levels of the academy.

4. Campus Aesthetic and Gallery Coordination

Create a more inspiring and aesthetically pleasant art college environment by incorporating artworks in designated spaces (Common area, lobby, corridors etc) Monitor and report any facility issues within the gallery to ensure the space is maintained properly and used responsibly by all users.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
