Note: This is a 12-month contract position based in our Kuala Lumpur Office. We are looking for an ideas-first Senior Art Director to take the lead in thinking up social ads and assets for an awesome fintech brand. This role focuses on social - which means that we are often looking for editorial ideas, as opposed to only campaigns. The position is all about harmonizing speed, style and scale to produce loads of good-looking assets at a steady pace. Role & Responsibilities You\'ll create style proposals, sketches, mockups and prototypes to kickstart the design for products, features and new campaigns. Your main responsibilities will be to bring ideas and execution to the table. You\'ll be tasked with coming up with ideas that can be executed month after month, with uncomplicated variations - whilst staying fresh and interesting in a quick turnaround environment You\'ll partner with a copywriter team and designers that, together with strategists, will conceptualize and execute content ideas that fit our clients global content calendar. Working for one of the world\'s most well-known fintech brands, you\'ll make sure ideas and designs are awesome and in line with expectations. You\'ll look after the execution of the art direction and help to improve the work by offering new angles, inspiration, best practices and practical solutions. You\'ll help translate creative/client briefs into high-quality campaigns. Pixel perfectness is important, so you\'ll safeguard quality at all times. Working alongside the Creative Director and the team, you\'ll make sure our designs and processes are in line with the client\'s objectives and expectations. Come Create Stuff for the Coolest Brands. Requirements You\'re a technically skilled Art Director with 7+ years of high-level experience as senior/lead art director crafting digital ads and assets. You\'re an energetic, highly-motivated individual, who can push people forward and elevate the ideation and craft standards of the team. As showcased in your portfolio, your Photoshop skills are super slick. Figma is a must! You\'ll need to have strong English communication skills for working with clients and colleagues around the world. You have experience with all stages of the design process, from conceptualizing styles to finalizing layouts and rolling out designs across markets and formats. Coming up with strong ideas and being able to propose exciting ways to execute them visually is second nature to you. You also know a thing or two about templating and process optimisations. With an understanding of fundamentals such as typography, interaction design, flow and storytelling, you can get teams to improve the work on both an aesthetic and functional level. You know how to sell designs to colleagues and clients alike, and ideally have some experience doing client presentations.
