Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and objectives. Teach students various art techniques (drawing, painting, crafts, digital art, etc.) according to their age and learning levels. Encourage creativity and self-expression while guiding students to improve their artistic skills. Organize classroom displays and exhibitions of student artwork. Evaluate and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents. Maintain a safe, clean, and inspiring classroom environment with appropriate art materials. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support cross-curricular projects and school events. Stay updated on contemporary art practices and integrate them into lesson planning. Uphold the school's values and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field (Teaching certification is an advantage). Prior experience as an art teacher or relevant teaching/tutoring experience preferred. Strong portfolio of personal artwork and knowledge of art history, techniques, and mediums. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Passion for art and education, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
