Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
AS400 / IBM i COBOL Developer
with strong hands-on expertise inCOBOL on AS400
environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications running on IBM i systems.Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, modify, and maintain applications using
COBOL on AS400 / IBM i
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Perform impact analysis and implement enhancements to existing COBOL programs Write efficient, well-structured, and maintainable COBOL code Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and application issues Work withDB2/400
for data access, queries, and performance tuning Handle batch and online programs, job scheduling, and error handling Support system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) Prepare and maintain technical documentation, program specifications, and change logsJob Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
