Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive AS400 Support Engineer (L2) with strong expertise in RPG, RPGLE, CLLE programming and hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline management using ARCAD. The ideal candidate will support complex production environments, troubleshoot issues, manage code deployments, and collaborate across development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to maintain performance and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a
technical escalation point for L1 and L2 teams
. Investigate and resolveAS400 system issues
including programs, batch jobs, and database anomalies. Perform advanced debugging using tools likeSTRDBG, DSPJOBLOG
. Handlehotfixes and emergency deployments
. Manage and maintainCI/CD pipelines using ARCAD or TurnOver
. Leadroot cause analysis (RCA)
and write technical reports for recurring issues. Maintain and optimizeDB2/400 databases
, including schema changes and data corrections. Monitor and troubleshootbatch job failures
, job queues, and scheduled tasks. Conductcode reviews and performance tuning
of RPG-based applications. Provide mentoring, documentation, and guidance for junior team members.Required Skills:

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM13,694.25 per month
