Job Description


This role involves extensive support in corporate governance, including attending meetings, preparing AGM documents, maintaining statutory records, drafting communications to regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to internal policies, overseeing billing and collections, and upholding corporate governance practices.

  • Attend meetings alongside senior staff as needed, including on weekends, holidays, or travel.
  • Responsible for preparing AGM reminders, annual returns, and drafting statutory documents like resolutions for directors and members.
  • Maintain statutory records such as minutes books and registers, along with client records.
  • Draft and issue announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, and organize meetings of the board and committees, handling notices, papers, and minutes.
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Timely manage billing and collections, including capturing all incurred operating expenses (OPEs).
  • Uphold best practices in corporate governance and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of all assignments, including capturing OPEs.

  • Entry-level candidates or recent graduates are suitable for the Assistant Associate role.
  • Candidates at the Associate level should have 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Possession of a recognized Degree or Diploma in Corporate Administration, Law, or related fields, with MAICSA/ICSA qualifications or pursuing them, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Companies Acts, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, CS Guidelines, and related regulations is essential.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
  • Experience in filing statutory forms and compliance with Companies Acts is preferred.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrates urgency and thrives in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to understand and meet customer and organizational needs effectively.
  • Confident in engaging with clients directly.
