We're looking for a passionate Junior Baker to join our kitchen team! You'll assist in preparing, baking, and decorating bakery items while learning professional baking techniques. This role suits someone who's hardworking, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in the F&B industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings according to recipes.
Bake breads, pastries, and desserts to consistent quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area, equipment, and utensils.
Monitor ingredient inventory and inform the head baker when stock runs low.
Follow food safety and kitchen SOPs at all times.
Support senior bakers in daily production and special orders.
Learn and practice new baking methods and presentation techniques.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of baking or F&B experience (fresh grads welcome).
Willing to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays if required.
Able to handle physical tasks (lifting flour bags, standing long hours, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Positive attitude, good teamwork, and eagerness to learn.
Bonus Points
Completed a baking or culinary course.
Experience in a bakery, cafe, or dessert shop.
Familiar with food safety standards (HACCP, Mesti, etc.).

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,550.00 per month
