Our opportunity for you: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the Vistra Corporate Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. team on a full-time basis Purpose of the role: This role is to assist the Client Acceptance Team to perform screening activities and clearance of alerts from ongoing monitoring screening platform for Vistra clients. Scope: The main objective of this role is to perform screening and searches on prospective and existing clients using Screening Deployed or approved screening tool for Vistra Singapore in accordance to local and group policy and regulations and attend to alerts generated from ongoing monitoring screening platform. Key responsibilities: Perform name screening and searches on prospective and existing clients and payee using the Screening Deployed system (based on World Check) or approved screening tool by the company Conduct due diligence and background checks on adverse findings via Google/Baidu searches. Provide appropriate documentation for name screening alerts generated from ongoing monitoring Liaise with relevant teams for additional information and escalate true hits to respective stakeholders Perform, review and check for completeness of maintenance of static information for batch screening including clearing of alerts, Ensure adherence to standards and procedure Perform, review and clear transactional and name screening alerts Perform any other ad-hoc tasks and project work as assigned Attributes & Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Sound analytical and research skills with meticulous attention to detail Excellent time management, good organisation skills and multi-tasking skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and to excel under pressure for meeting any tight deadlines Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese language skill is desirable Relevant experience: Knowledge of Know Your Client (KYC), Customer Due Diligence or Name Screening experience in a financial institution or equivalent function is an added advantage AML experience and good understanding of compliance and MAS regulatory requirements in Singapore is an added advantage Education/Professional Qualifications: Diploma or University graduate with Bachelor of Law / Accounting / Business / Economics / Finance and related academic qualifications Join US!
