  • Salary: RM 6000-9000.
  • Location: Mid Valley City, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
  • Working hours: 8.30 am-5.30 pm (Monday-Friday)

About the hiring company.
Our client is an established group of PLC listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. The Group\'s principal businesses include technology, corporate advisory & stock broking, property investment holdings, F&B, retail and trading. They are actively seeking a high calibre ICSA professional to assume the role of Assistant Company Secretary within the corporate secretarial services and its subsidiaries. The role would suit an ICSA qualified individual with previous secretarial experience ideally working within a listed environment. Please note that despite the name \'Secretary\',the role is absolutely not clerical or private secretarial function in nature.

As Assistant Company Secretary, you will provide support the Senior Company Secretary across various company secretarial matters, thereby ensuring the delivery of a professional, effective,high quality corporate secretarial service to support the activities of the Board, Shareholders and Executive team.
Key elements of the role.
  • Assist in preparing Directors\' resolutions,minutes of the Board,Committee and shareholders meeting and announcements to Bursa Malaysia.
  • Organise,coordinate and attend Board/Committee meetings and AGM/EGM.
  • Ensure timely submission statutory forms,returns and notifications in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act,Bursa Malaysia Listing requirements.
  • Assist the Company Secretary in handling all aspects of corporate secretarial and share registration services.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports and circulars to shareholders and provide corporate secretarial support for corporate exercises.
Candidate skills & experience
  • Malaysian female in age group 30-45.
  • ICSA qualified graduate.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in corporate secretarial role with exposure to public listed environment.
  • Hands on experience managing subsidiary entities within the group.
  • Well versed with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements,Companies Act, corporate governance codes and regulations and applicable companies legislation.
  • Knowledge in share registration is an advantage.
  • Good strong communication skills with good command of English, both spoken and written.
