Key Responsibilities & Job Content; The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:

1. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

? Interpret and apply relevant building codes (e.g. AUS/NZS, EN, BS,CS IBC, ISO, ASME, ASTM, local codes MS, UBBL, Fire Protection Act).

? Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

? Liaise with regulatory bodies and certification agencies for inspections and approvals.

2. Technical Review & Documentation

? Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and material submittals.

? Maintain compliance documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality records.

? Conduct gap analyses and compliance audits.

3. Quality Assurance & Control

? Develop and implement quality control procedures specific to modular construction.

? Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.

? Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

? Collaborate with design, procurement, and production teams to ensure compliance is integrated into all project phases.

? Support project managers in risk assessments and mitigation planning.

? Provide technical guidance to subcontractors and vendors.

5. Testing & Inspection

? Oversee factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and third-party inspections.

? Ensure traceability of materials and components through documentation and ID.

? Validate welding, coating, fireproofing, and other critical processes.

6. Suppliers Subcontract Compliance:

? Ensure Suppliers adhere to applicable industry standards, specs, regulations, and contractual obligations. (e.g., ISO, ASTM, ANSI, EN, AS/NZS, UL , etc)

? Address non-compliance issues promptly and work with Suppliers to implement corrective actions.

Project Scope Understanding:

? Have a comprehensive understanding of the project scope of work, RFI, BOQ, MIR, BOM, including building construction projects, utilities, and infrastructure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month

Experience:

Construction management: 2 years (Required) QA/QC: 2 years (Required)
