Requirements
Ability to assist in site supervision, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical works.
Capable of preparing and updating technical documents, reports, and material lists.
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is preferred.
Good communication and coordination skills to work with engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese is an added advantage.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
Assist the Electrical Engineer in the planning, execution, and supervision of electrical installation works at site.
Support daily site activities, including coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Assist in reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
Monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical requirements, and safety standards.
Participate in testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
Assist in preparing technical reports, progress updates, method statements, and material take-off lists.
Support coordination of material delivery, installation schedules, and work sequencing.
Ensure adherence to electrical safety procedures and company HSE policies at all times.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and support corrective actions under supervision.
Maintain proper documentation and records, including inspection checklists, test results, and as-built drawings.
Attend site meetings and assist in recording minutes of meetings when required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Electrical Engineer or Project Manager.
