Job Description
Assist in the design and development of new products or tooling, including new product introduction (NPI).
Review drawings, specifications, and tolerances; ensure designs are manufacturable.
Support creation of process flow, tooling layouts, fixture or mould design.
Monitor and support production processes: ensure yield, quality, and standards are met.
Perform testing, inspections or verification tasks (incoming materials, in-line inspections, final product QA).
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects or failures.
Help prepare technical documents: reports, process control plans, work instructions, SOPs.
Work with cross-functional teams: production, quality, procurement, design, customers.
Use data/statistical tools for process monitoring (e.g. SPC), quality metrics, Kaizen or continuous improvement activities.
Ensure compliance with company's quality, safety, environmental, and ISO standards.
Maintain documentation and records: drawings, test results, quality records, etc.
Provide technical support during ramp-up of production, mould trials, process validation.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree (or Diploma + relevant experience) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or other relevant Engineering discipline. Fresh graduates may be considered; 1-2 years of related experience is a plus.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
