Position Summary
Principal Responsibilities
1. Lead/Supervises process engineering team to improve yields, production efficiency and productivity, by introducing new techniques, technologies or concepts.
2. Direct department activities that may affect profits, schedule, costs, customer relations
3. Manage the development, implementation and maintenance of processes and equipment for manufacturing of products to achieve cost effectiveness and product quality.
4. Supervises process engineering team in addressing quality issues, daily trouble-shooting, root cause analysis and effective solutions development.

6. Lead and coordinate projects that may involve product transfers from oversea, new process introduction, process re-engineering, material sourcing and material change validations.
7. Plan and monitor department projects to ensure project on track and schedule. Remove road-blocks for projects
8. Develop talents in the teams in skill of analyzing, project coordination/managements and resources managements
9. Provides technical and engineering supports to operations to sustain the delivery and operation growth.
10. Ensure the team to comply with quality system and regulations requirements
11. To inform superior/relevant personnel in event of major problems pertaining to prolonged overtime, rejects, industrial unrest, fire, water shortages etc.
12. Undertake effective OSH measures to ensure compliance, within the workplace, with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and other legislative requirements
Education / Experience Requirements
Qualification :
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Polymer Science.
Experience :
Preferably 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment.

Computer literate

Interpersonal skills
Productivity and Problem Solving Technique.
